We have learned how to take care of our bodies through ways that we learned from our friends and family as well as medical experts. The human body is a marvel that is still being studied with new results being published every year. As we continue to learn more about our bodies, we learn that some of the “facts” we grew up with over time were actually myths. These myths were created as a way to explain certain medical ailments and phenomenon as well as control kids and prevent them from hurting themselves.
